Berry Recruitment (Darlington Branch) is currently looking to register agency cleaners and kitchen assistants for temporary roles within schools in Lanchester (Durham) and surrounding areas. These roles are flexible and suitable for candidates seeking to supplement their hours or work part-time.

Typical working hours are between 9:30 am - 1:30 pm or 11:30 am - 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities include:

• Hoovering and mopping floors
• Cleaning toilets
• Cleaning classrooms and staff rooms
• Emptying bins
• Dusting and wiping down surfaces
• Sanitising touch points such as door handles and light switches
• Sanitising desk areas
• Prepping food
• Washing pots

Qualifications and preferences:

• Previous cleaning or kitchen experience preferred
• Driving licence and own transport preferred but not essential

The hourly rate is £12.21, paid weekly through Berry Recruitment.

Candidates must have a current Enhanced DBS certificate on the update service (£13 yearly subscription) or be willing to pay £59.50 for processing an Enhanced DBS check.
