Job Description:

Berry Recruitment in Darlington is currently looking to register agency cleaners and kitchen assistants for temporary roles within schools in Darlington and surrounding areas. These roles are flexible, part-time, and suitable for candidates seeking to supplement their hours or looking for flexible work.

The typical working hours are between 9:30 am - 1:30 pm and 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities include:

• Hoovering and mopping floors
• Cleaning toilets
• Cleaning classrooms and staff rooms
• Emptying bins
• Dusting and wiping surfaces
• Sanitising touch points such as door handles and light switches
• Sanitising desk areas
• Prepping food
• Washing pots

Previous cleaning or kitchen experience is preferred. A driving licence and own transport are advantageous but not essential.

The hourly rate is £12.21, paid weekly via Berry Recruitment.

Candidates must have a current Enhanced DBS certificate on the update service (£13 annually) or be willing to pay £59.50 for processing a new DBS check.
