Kitchen Chef - Brent
Location: Brent, London
Position: Kitchen Chef
Start date: Immediate
Hours: Term-time only, Monday-Friday, 8:00 - 14.00 (30 hours per week)

Are you passionate about food and enthusiastic about creating healthy, nutritious meals for children? We are seeking an experienced and motivated Kitchen Chef to join our warm and welcoming team at a thriving primary school in Brent.

Key Responsibilities of a Kitchen Chef:

  • Prepare and cook daily school meals in accordance with nutritional guidelines

  • Plan menus that are healthy, varied, and child-friendly

  • Ensure high standards of food hygiene and kitchen safety

  • Manage stock levels and liaise with suppliers

  • Lead and support a small kitchen team

Key Requirements of a Kitchen Chef:

  • Has previous experience in catering, ideally in a school or similar setting

  • Holds a Food Hygiene Level 2 certificate (or higher)

  • Is reliable, well-organised, and passionate about healthy eating

  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced, child-focused environment
