Job summary

A leading kitchen design company in the UK is seeking a Kitchen Surveyor to conduct customer kitchen surveys. The role requires a full UK driving licence and excellent attention to detail. You will ensure exceptional service by accurately recording measurements and supporting the showroom team. Job description

About The Role

The basic salary for this role is £28,250 plus a quarterly bonus of up to £2,000, meaning you can earn up to £36,250 annually.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. 40 hours on rota basis, including some evenings and weekends
  2. Conduct expert surveys of customer’s kitchens, ensuring accurate measurements for the design process
  3. Record all information electronically in line with GDPR
  4. Maintain an exceptional customer journey by providing outstanding service, top-quality surveys, and excellent communication
  5. Support the showroom team to improve planning skills, provide feedback, and reduce errors within the business
  6. Ensure high-quality plans by auditing in advance of order/delivery, providing feedback to develop designers’ skills

In addition to other duties, as a responsible person, you must ensure that you have read, understood, and adhered to policies and procedures relating to Health and Safety, as outlined in the Integrated Management System (IMS) Responsibilities document.

Desired Skills and Knowledge:

  • Previous experience conducting home measures/surveys
  • Experience using CAD or planner software
  • Knowledge of kitchen installation and legislation
  • Knowledge of plan checking or error checking
  • Previous experience working in the kitchen industry
