Wickes is seeking a Kitchen and Bathroom Design Consultant in Sheffield. You will lead the full customer journey from showroom discussions to home visits, guiding clients through design choices and turning ideas into tangible spaces.

You’ll balance sales targets with high-quality customer service, maintain showroom standards, and collaborate with customers to deliver inspiring, practical designs. Flexibility for in-home visits and driving is expected.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver Wickes customer journey in-store, virtually, or at customer homes with consistent care.
• Turn prospects into customers by finding best space and budget solutions; generate showroom leads.
• Create inspiring designs using design tools; present and refine ideas with customers.
• Maintain showroom displays and uphold high standards.
• Stay organised and proactive; keep customers updated with progress.
• Follow all company policies and regulations including GDPR and health & safety.

The role

If you’re passionate about providing a great customer experience join us as a Kitchen and Bathroom Design Consultant. You’ll help customers design and create spaces that make a real difference in their homes. From the first conversation in our showroom to visiting them at home, you’ll guide them through the process with care.

You’ll take the time to understand what matters to them, offer product advice, and use your design knowledge to bring their ideas to life. Every project is unique and every project matters. You’ll own the full customer experience from start to finish.

Your responsibilities

• Deliver our full Wickes customer journey: whether it’s in-store, virtual, or at a customer’s home, you’ll treat every customer with the same attention.
• Turn prospects into customers finding the best solutions for our customers' space and budget. You’ll also be proactive in generating leads within your showroom.
• Create inspiring designs using our design tools, presenting and refining ideas in collaboration with customers.
• Look after your showroom maintaining displays and keeping up our high standards.
• Stay organised and proactive keeping our customers updated and always communicating progress clearly.
• Stay compliant with all company policies and regulations including finance, GDPR, and health & safety.

About you

• Some experience of using design tools would be desirable, however a working knowledge of similar tools such AutoCAD or Photoshop would be an advantage.You will also need a valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle as you’ll visit customers at home.
