Harbour Healthcare is seeking a Bank Kitchen Assistant in Consett to support meal preparation and kitchen hygiene at Redwell Hills Care Home. The role requires flexibility to cover shifts, a DBS check, and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.

You will help wash, store and portion ingredients, maintainCleanfood prep areas and assist in serving meals when needed, while upholding dietary requirements for residents.

Formación

• DBS check Enhanced required.
• Willingness to obtain health and social care qualification.
• Flexibility to work bank shifts in Consett.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure the food preparation areas are clean and hygienic.
• Wash utensils and dishes and store properly.
• Sort, store and distribute ingredients.
• Dispose of rubbish.
• Organise sufficient supply of laundry cloths.
• Clean kitchen equipment and floors.
• Assist with kitchen duties and cleaning schedules.
• Assist in preparation and serving of meals when required.
• Ensure equipment used is properly maintained and reported faults.
• Support delivery and serving of food as needed.
• Follow dietary requirements identified for residents.
• Maintain a clean, hygienic and well-presented appearance.
