Job summary

Chuffin Stuffed, based in York, is seeking a Kitchen Assistant / Server with a view to becoming a chef. This full-time, on-site role offers hands-on training in a fast-paced street-food setting.

You will assist with food prep, run the pass, serve customers warmly, and learn from a chef with 15+ years’ experience. A Level 2 Food Safety and a flexible schedule between 20 and 45 hours per week are key.

Qualifications

• Experience in a kitchen or food service environment.
• Level 2 Food Safety or willing to complete it with support from the employer.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Desire for career progression to become a chef.
• Flexibility to work 20–45 hours per week.
• Friendly, confident presence as a face of the brand.
• Strong work ethic and ability to support the owner/head chef in the kitchen.

• Someone with experience in a kitchen or food service environment
• Level 2 Food Safety (or willing to complete it, we’ll support you)

• A friendly, confident presence — you’ll be one of the faces of Chuffin Stuffed
