Tates of Sussex at Paradise Park Garden Centre is seeking a Kitchen Assistant for a part-time role in our busy coffee shop kitchen. The position involves standing and moving around the kitchen, food preparation, cooking, plating, and customer service.

Job description

This is a physically demanding, fast-paced kitchen role involving prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting and carrying food supplies, kitchen equipment and ingredients. Duties include food preparation, cooking, plating, customer service, cleaning and maintaining high food safety and hygiene standards.

The role requires physical stamina, the ability to work under pressure in a hot and busy kitchen environment, good communication skills, teamwork and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Previous catering or kitchen experience is essential.
