Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is seeking a motivated Kitchen Assistant to join our team on a full-time basis (37.5 hours per week). You’ll be central to our operation, helping prepare high-quality food, maintain kitchen cleanliness, and support safe operation of equipment and deliveries.

We value reliability, teamwork and the ability to work under pressure, with 5 out of 7 shift patterns and opportunities for progression across around 6,000 venues.

Responsibilities

• Preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights our clients and customers.
• Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness of the kitchen and surrounding areas.
• Ensuring the correct use of all machinery and equipment.
• Assisting with the loading or unloading of deliveries and supply vehicles.
• Representing Compass Group UK&I and maintaining a positive brand image.
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards.
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations.
