Job summary

JW Lees is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to join a friendly, busy kitchen. You will help keep the kitchen clean and organized during and after service, wash utensils and dishes, and assist with basic food prep when needed.

Join a historic family-owned brewer with a strong local presence. You’ll work with a supportive team and have opportunities for development and career progression within JW Lees’ pubs, inns, and hotels across the region.

Qualifications

• Health & Safety awareness in the kitchen.
• Willingness to learn new skills and progress.

Responsibilities

• Keep the kitchen running efficiently and spotlessly clean during and after service.
• Clean utensils and dishes and assist with general kitchen duties.
• Assist with basic food and ingredients preparation when required.
• Support the team to achieve high health and safety scores.

What a Kitchen Assistant does at JW Lees:
