Job summary

JW Lees is hiring a Kitchen Assistant to support a busy kitchen team at our pubs, inns and hotels in the North West and North Wales region. You will help keep the kitchen clean, assist with basic prep and dishwashing, and contribute to a high standard of food safety on every shift.

Qualifications

• Experience in a kitchen environment preferred.
• Ability to follow hygiene and food safety practices.
• Willingness to learn and develop in a hospitality role.

Responsibilities

• Keep the kitchen running smoothly and maintain a spotless work area.
• Wash utensils and dishes; assist with basic food prep as needed.
• Adhere to health and safety standards and support 5* ratings.
• Show eagerness to learn new skills and progress within the team.
• Contribute to the team’s success and support colleagues on shift.

What a Kitchen Assistant does at JW Lees:

• You’ll play a main part in keeping the kitchen running efficiently and spotlessly clean during and after service
• You'll be responsible for cleaning utensils and dishes along with general kitchen duties and on occasion basic food and ingredients preparation
