Job summary

Care Concern Group’s Amwell Care Home in the United Kingdom is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to help deliver high quality meals in a clean, safe, well organised kitchen.

You will support food preparation, maintain kitchen cleanliness, assist with deliveries, storage and stock organisation, and work closely with the Chef and team to keep the kitchen running smoothly and safely at all times.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene.
• Previous kitchen experience is beneficial but not essential.
• Good communication skills in a team environment.

Job description

As Kitchen Assistant, you will support the delivery of high quality meals within a clean, safe and well organised kitchen environment. This is a hands on role where your contribution helps ensure meals are prepared efficiently and to a high standard. You will support food preparation, maintain cleanliness across the kitchen and assist with deliveries, storage and stock organisation. Working closely with the Chef and wider team, you will help ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and safely at all times. This role offers a consistent routine and the opportunity to build or develop your experience within a supportive and well organised kitchen environment.
