Up to £13.41 per hour

Hours: 14 hours per week - Thursday and Friday one week, Saturday and Sunday the following week.

About Us:

This role is based in Redford Court/Lodge, a 29-bed service in Liverpool, split over two buildings in a small cul-de-sac. The main unit has 24 beds, including 20 flatlets and 4 self-contained flats. Opposite is a 5-bed unit, Redford Court Lodge. Both provide rehabilitation to people with acquired brain injuries, offering a unique community environment where individuals can address cognitive, behavioral, physical, and emotional challenges.

Last year, the average length of stay was 12 weeks. Redford Court also offers a continuing rehabilitation service for those with longer-term needs, facilitated by Redford Court Lodge.

The role:

To assist in the daily preparation of cooked, nutritious meals for service users, ensuring food of high quality.

Your main duties would include:

• Assisting in planning and preparing a varied, balanced, and nutritious menu, considering any dietary requirements and preferences.
• Ensuring all food storage, preparation, and cooking adhere to high hygiene standards.
• Managing the storage and use of cleaning items in accordance with COSHH regulations.
