Job summary

WSH Group is looking for a Kitchen Assistant based in Birmingham. The role requires stamina, attention to detail, and communication skills to maintain an organised kitchen. Responsibilities include dishwashing, kitchen cleanliness, assisting with food preparation, and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment either by hand or using industrial dishwashers.
• Clean and sanitise kitchen surfaces, countertops, and food preparation areas.
• Assist chefs and cooks with basic food preparation tasks, such as peeling, chopping, and slicing ingredients.
• Assist in receiving, storing, and organising kitchen supplies and ingredients.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen ensuring equipment is in good working order.

• Compliance with Health and safety – maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen ensuring equipment is in good working order
