Job summary

Harbour Healthcare in Harrogate is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support our residents at Granby Rose Care Home - Highgate Park. You’ll help keep living areas clean, tidy, and beautifully presented, and assist with meal service and housekeeping tasks.

No prior experience or qualifications are required—we will train you to become our next superhero care worker in a friendly, supportive team that values safety, dignity, and compassion for residents.

• Keep resident living areas and communal spaces tidy, clean and well presented.
• Assist with housekeeping tasks and ensure linen and facilities meet hygiene standards.

We are on the hunt in Harrogate for our next amazing Kitchen assistant.

But what is important to know, is you do not need to have had previous experience in this field, nor do you need qualifications - we are happy to work with you to help you become our next superhero care worker.

You’ll be the sort of person who doesn’t go out without leaving a tidy bed. You’ll apply your high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and tidiness to our resident’s homes and communal living spaces, to ensure they’re spotlessly clean and beautifully presented.

You’ll also be working in Housekeeping ensuring that the linen is kept clean for residents’ comfort and hygiene. You’ll also have your eye out for potential fire and accident risks, working with other teams to reduce any risks to resident’s safety.
