Job summary

Chartwells is seeking a motivated Kitchen Assistant for a part-time role of 7 hours per week, contracted for 47 weeks per year. You will join a team that prides itself on food quality, brand integrity, and people development.

The shift pattern includes Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings, with opportunities to grow within Compass Group UK&I. Key responsibilities include food preparation, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, proper use of equipment, and assisting with deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights our clients and customers
• Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness of the kitchen and surrounding areas
• Ensuring the correct use of all machinery and equipment
• Assisting with the loading or unloading of deliveries and supply vehicles
• Representing Chartwells and maintaining a positive brand image
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations
