We are a Japanese & Korean restaurant located in SW12 London offering the highest quality of traditional Korean and Japanese food. The Umi is offering Delivery and Takeaway services at the moment, and the restaurant is now reopened. We are looking to recruit an experienced, passionate kitchen assistant, ideal for someone willing to commit to the highest standards of service and operations. Students are also welcome (we provide sponsorship and can assist with visas for the right candidate).

Responsibilities:

• Run and supervise kitchen sections to the standards set by the Head Chef
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of designated sections
• Support the Head Chef in delivering quality food and maintaining hygiene standards
• Maintain a positive, proactive attitude and seek to improve skills and performance
• Comply with health and safety regulations, staff conduct, and company policies
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Chef and management

Skills & Experience:

• Experience in an Asian restaurant as a kitchen assistant
• Genuine interest in food and excellent customer service
• Team player with a positive attitude

Job Details:
