Bupa UK Hazelmere House Care Home in Wilmslow is seeking a Kitchen Assistant on a bank/zero-hour basis. You will work to support the kitchen team, plate meals, prepare trolleys and uphold strict hygiene standards to ensure residents enjoy nutritious, well-presented meals.

This role is part-time with flexible patterns, offering a day-to-day bank contract. A Basic Food Hygiene Certificate and previous kitchen experience help you excel in this friendly care setting.

Qualifications

• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate required.
• Previous kitchen experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as the link between the main kitchen and residents.
• Assist chefs to plate meals and prepare food trolleys.
• Keep preparation areas clean and tidy and monitor stock rotation.
• Assist with catering for events (e.g., summer BBQs, Christmas parties).
