Job summary

At Kew Green Hotels, this role supports the kitchen team to keep operations smooth and guests satisfied. You will help with cleaning, stock storage, and basic food prep during peak periods, while learning through our Chef Development Programme and Chef Academy. A proactive, team-oriented approach is valued in a fast-paced kitchen.

You'll contribute to safe, clean, and efficient service, with training and development opportunities across the group.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the kitchen team in delivering a positive and memorable dining experience for guests.
• Ensuring all crockery, cutlery, pots and pans are cleaned to the required standard.
• Supporting with basic food preparation when required during busy service periods.
• Supporting chefs by collecting ingredients, equipment or materials as needed.
• Receiving deliveries and ensuring all items are stored safely, correctly and in an organised way.
• Maintaining storage areas so that ingredients and materials are easy to access.
• Keeping the kitchen clean, tidy and ready for service, including end-of-day cleaning.
• Removing waste promptly.
• Using cleaning materials and equipment safely and responsibly.
• Following all health, safety and food hygiene standards at all times.
