Job summary

Runwood Homes Limited is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support the kitchen team in our care homes across England. You will help the Chefs with daily kitchen tasks, maintain cleanliness, and ensure meals are served to a high standard.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, adhere to COSHH and HACPP guidelines, and participate in training and development to progress within the company. All appointments require safeguarding checks.

Qualifications

• Passionate about food and high-quality service at every meal.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.
• Experience in a fast-paced kitchen is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and perform general kitchen tasks to ensure smooth operation.
• Assist Chefs with daily kitchen activities.
• Cater for special events at the home, such as summer fayres.
