Job summary

Runwood Homes is looking for a Kitchen Assistant to support the kitchen team in delivering daily meals in our care homes. You will help maintain cleanliness, assist Chefs with tasks, and participate in catering for events while following COSHH and HACPP guidelines.

We offer training to enhance skills and provide a safe work environment, with safer recruitment checks including DBS clearance as part of the onboarding process.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and teamwork skills are a must.
• Experience in a fast-paced kitchen is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and perform general kitchen tasks to support daily operations.
• Assist Chefs with daily kitchen operations in the care home.
• Support catering for special events at the home (e.g., summer fayres).
