We’re seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support our busy kitchen team. In this role, you’ll make a meaningful contribution to the work of the National Trust and help provide visitors with a memorable experience.

Hours
This is an hourly paid, fixed-term position. We strive for consistency in working patterns but may need to make adjustments, with prior notice. The role includes weekends and Bank Holidays but no evenings or split shifts.

What you'll be doing
As a Kitchen Assistant, you'll primarily work behind the scenes, supporting our friendly kitchen team. You'll need a positive attitude and dedication to excellent service to ensure a great experience for visitors. The role involves food preparation, baking, and possibly assisting with serving customers. We provide induction, training on allergens and food safety, and mentorship, with opportunities for further professional development.
