Corkey House, run by the Presbyterian Church in Ireland, is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support the Cook in preparing nutritious meals for residents. The role is 28.5 hours per week across 8am–6pm shifts, with flexible rota arrangements to suit the home’s needs.
You will work as part of a caring team, handling food preparation, serving meals, kitchen cleaning, and basic hygiene tasks, contributing to the well‑being of older people in a Christian ethos environment.

Main Function:
The Kitchen Assistant will assist the Cook in the preparation of nutritional meals to meet the needs of the residents, working within the Christian ethos of Corkey House.
Background Information:
Corkey House is one of 6 homes for older people run by the Council for Social. The purpose-built home accommodates 35 residents who have a variety of physical, social, emotional and spiritual needs and varying levels of dependency.
