Job summary

Springcare Care Homes Ltd is seeking an enthusiastic kitchen team member to support our busy kitchens across our residential and nursing homes. You will assist with preparation and serving of meals, help the head cook maintain hygiene standards, and ensure residents' dietary needs are respected with a positive, professional approach.

Full and part-time day contracts are available with access to our pension scheme and benefits such as Blue Light Card and funded training for qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the preparation and serving of hot and cold meals.
• Assisting the head cook to ensure that food hygiene regulations are followed.
• Keeping the kitchen area and equipment clean and to the standard for food hygiene.
• Maintaining accurate records of food supplies and freezer/fridge temperatures under guidance of head cook.
• Being aware of varied preferences and dietary requirements of individual residents.
