Job summary

Center Parcs UK & Ireland is seeking a Kitchen Assistant / Commis Chef for the Sports Bar at Whinfell Forest. You will assist with preparation, cooking and presentation of food, while keeping the kitchen clean and safe. Shifts run between 8:00am and 10:00pm, with a guaranteed minimum of 150 hours over 4 weeks, including evenings and weekends.

Full training is provided, opportunities for development exist, and you will join a friendly sports café team within a family-friendly environment.

We're seeking a motivated Kitchen Assistant / Commis Chef to join our friendly Sports Café Kitchen team. This role offers the opportunity to learn and progress while supporting the preparation, cooking and presentation of high-quality dishes. Full training will be provided, so enthusiasm and a willingness to develop are key.

Your working hours

• Full-time contract, shifts fall between 8:00am and 10:00pm
• You will be contracted to work a guaranteed minimum of 150 hours over a 4‑week period. You may be asked to work additional hours in line with operational requirements
• This role includes evenings and weekends
