Overview

As a fast-track chef you will learn and progress from the ground floor up, helping with the preparation, cooking and presentation of food, working to the highest standards and in an environment that combines popular menus and quality food with the very best in service.

Responsibilities

• Preparation, cooking and presentation of food to menu specifications
• Learning about stock control, portion control and food wastage
• Understanding dietary requirements
• How to use specialist kitchen equipment safely and correctly
• Keeping a safe and hygienic working environment
• Keeping the kitchen clean, tidy and organised

Hours

We have the following contracts available on a flexible basis. This means your hours and days of work could vary each week, but you will always receive at least your contracted hours each period.

• 150 hours per 4-week period
• 160 hours per 4-week period

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, good communication skills, enjoy working as part of a team and desire to learn and develop. No previous experience is required.

Compensation

£11.60 per hour rising to £12.27 per hour when qualified - plus tips
