Job summary

Glee-Glasgow is seeking an enthusiastic person to join the kitchen team on a part-time basis. Shifts average 1–3 per week, with work from 5pm–10pm and December availability including 31st. Pay is £13.30ph plus tips and a bonus scheme, paid every four weeks.

You will assist the head chef with prep and service, maintain hygiene standards, and support deliveries and deep cleans. Training to become Kitchen Supervisor is available.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18+ and available to work weekends and evenings.
  • Level 2 Food Hygiene Training and Certificate.
  • Previous busy kitchen experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Produce high quality food, quickly and efficiently.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen and follow food hygiene laws.
  • Assist the head chef with deliveries and deep cleans.

IMPORTANT: Must be 18+, must be available to work weekends and evenings, including 31st December. This is a part-time role.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking person to join our kitchen team for an average of 1 - 3 shifts a week. We are looking for someone who is a hard worker, passionate about food and works well under pressure. During the summer months we are quieter but shifts pick up from September through to June. The right candidate will be traiend to become a Kitchen Supervisor in order to cover the Kitchen Manager on thier days off / holidays.

Pay: £13.30ph + tips and a bonus scheme, paid 4 weekly.

Qualifications Needed:

Must have a Level 2 Food Hygiene Training and Certificate.

Things To Know:

  • Shifts start between 5pm - 6.30pm, and generally finish between 9.00pm and 10.00pm. (typically 6-9pm)
  • We don't provide transport home but we are happy to allow you to leave at a reasonable time to get public transport if you let us know in advance.
  • Due to the nature of our service model, the first hour of service can be quite intense so an ability to work well under pressure is a must. We aim to serve all of our customers (up to 250 covers) before the show starts.
  • Previous experience in a busy kitchen is preferred.
  • Must be able to work weekends and evenings. Must be available to work for most of December including 31st December.
