Job summary

Kingsley Healthcare in Manchester is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support daily catering operations. You will help with food preparation, ensure compliance with Health and Safety and Food Standards, and contribute to a warm, resident-centered dining environment.

You will maintain kitchen cleanliness, manage washing up, and work closely with Home Manager, Deputy Manager and Chef to uphold high standards and a positive team atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar kitchen role is desirable.
• Solid knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and take on new tasks.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all food preparation and catering complies with Health and Safety and Food Standards regulations.
• Monitor and maintain kitchen cleaning schedules and immaculate cleanliness, including washing up crockery and utensils.
• Reports to: Home Manager/Deputy Manager/Chef
