Job summary

The Orders of St John Care Trust is recruiting a Kitchen Assistant to join our catering team at Hartsholme House in Lincoln. You’ll help prepare meals, snacks and drinks for residents, while getting to know their preferences to make mealtimes bright and enjoyable.

You don’t need prior catering experience; we’ll provide training. A Basic Food Hygiene Certificate is a plus, and we value a positive, team‑oriented attitude and good communication with residents and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn and follow kitchen hygiene standards
• Good communication with residents and team

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals, snacks and drinks for residents
