Job summary

Bower Care Home in Linlithgow is recruiting a Kitchen Assistant to join a brand new care home team from day one. You will help deliver high quality meals in a clean, well organised kitchen and work closely with the Chef and team to keep the kitchen running smoothly.

This hands-on role offers a supportive environment, competitive hourly pay of £12.71, and the opportunity to develop your experience in catering for residential and dementia care residents.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good organisation and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support food preparation and delivery of meals in a clean, safe kitchen.
• Maintain cleanliness across the kitchen and assist with stock/storage.
• Work with the Chef and wider team to ensure the kitchen runs smoothly.
