As a Bank Kitchen Assistant at a Barchester care home, you'll help to provide first-class food and hospitality, enabling us to deliver exceptional care and support to our residents. A healthy, nutritious diet is vital for residents' wellbeing and enjoyment of daily life, which makes this role important. You will provide cover for planned or unplanned absences, assist in meal preparation, and create a fulfilling dining experience for residents. Your contribution will support your colleagues and extend beyond the kitchen. There will be opportunities to interact with residents and enhance their hospitality experience.
In this role, you'll play a crucial part in the success of the care home. We're seeking someone committed to maintaining high standards in the kitchen and during food prep. Reliability, consideration, and caring nature are essential, along with flexibility in work patterns. Formal qualifications aren't necessary, but experience in a commercial or care setting would be advantageous.
