Overview

Roche Health Care are looking to recruit a Kitchen Assistant to join our friendly team at Tudor House, Selby.

Salary: £12.21phr. Hours: Bank shifts - Kitchen hours are 9.00-2.00pm, 2.00-7.00pm, 9.00-7.00pm.

Responsibilities

• Assist in organising and controlling the efficient and economic production of quality food within the allowed budget, whilst maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all areas of kitchen operation.

Qualifications

• Experience in Kitchen or Catering is required; experience in Care would be an advantage.
• Basic food hygiene certificate.
• Good communication skills.
• Experience in food preparation for relevant service user group required.
• Evidence of high level commitment to personal development, training and education.
• To have a genuine interest in working within a caring environment; ability to communicate effectively at all levels; ability to work as part of a team; be a kind and considerate person who is innovative and caring.
