Kitchen Assistant (4999), Sir E Scott School
15 hours per week, term time, permanent post
£9,416 - £9,508 per annum, inclusive of £976 Distant Islands Allowance per annum

The post holder will carry out general kitchen duties in the school kitchen and dining areas. Responsibilities include: preparing food, simple cooking, serving meals, snacks, and beverages; handling cash, operating the cash register, and completing relevant forms; ensuring all food handling operations comply with current Food Hygiene and Health and Safety legislation, and the Comhairle's Food Safety Policy.

Previous experience in a similar role is essential, and a current Food Hygiene Certificate is desirable.

This post requires membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme concerning regulated work with children.

Salary is inclusive of Distant Islands Allowance. Appointment will be at the first point of the grade.
