Job summary

Aramark UK is hiring a Kitchen Assistant to join their team at Hartpury University & College, Hartpury House, Gloucester. A permanent, full-time role with 40 hours a week, requiring flexibility for weekdays and weekends.

You will work in a busy kitchen, delivering food to on-site outlets and supporting both kitchen and front-of-house teams. Full training provided; previous kitchen experience is welcome but not essential.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
• Customer focused and a strong communicator.
• Excellent team player with a flexible approach to duties.

Responsibilities

• Delivering food to outlets on-site.
• Carrying out all washing duties for a busy kitchen and restaurant.
• Supporting the kitchen and FOH team where possible.
• Ensuring FOH and BOH are clean and tidy.
• Assisting with deliveries and organizing them in the correct storage areas.
• Removing waste from waste containers and disposing in the correct external bins.
