About the role

Pay Details: Grade 1 - £24,309 pro rata, £12.60 - £22.05/hr. Hourly rate enhancements are paid for unsociable hours, weekends, and bank holidays (plus lieu day for bank holidays).

Working hours:

  • Monday – Friday

Hourly rates:

  • Saturday
  • Sunday and Bank Holidays

Shift hours and pay rates:

  • 12 am – 6 am: Time & 1/3
  • 6 am – 10 pm: Plain time, Time & 1/4, Time & 1/2, Time & 3/4
  • 10 pm – 12 am: Time & 1/3, Time & 1/2, Time & 3/4

Hours of Work: 1 vacancy – 18 hours per week (3 shifts)

Working pattern: 4-week rota / Monday to Sunday

Shift hours: 8 am – 2 pm

Description: To work as part of a team to ensure a quality meal service is provided.

About you

You will need:

  • Previous catering / kitchen experience is desirable
  • Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team, as well as using own initiative
  • Effective communication skills both verbally and in writing
  • Willingness to participate in training
