Nursery: Bright Horizons North Finchley Day Nursery and Preschool

Working hours: 15 hours per week - Tuesday to Thursday (These days may change so we do require some flexibility)

We are looking for a part-time Early Years Kitchen Assistant to join our Bright Horizons North Finchley Day Nursery, situated in North Finchley. We are close to West Finchley tube station (10 minute walk) and North Finchley bus station (5 minute walk). The super loop bus passes our nursery and stops at NF bus station.

What we’re looking for:

  1. Previous experience within a role which involves cooking or working in a kitchen within a domestic or commercial property
  2. Passion for nutrition, and inspiring others in healthy eating
  3. Food Safety CIEH L2 or above (or equivalent) – this must be passed on day 1 in post
  4. Sound knowledge of COSHH
  5. Ability to demonstrate a sound knowledge of managing different dietary requirements, particularly food allergies
  6. Great communication skills, with both colleagues, children, and parents
  7. Ability to work under pressure
