Job summary

Woodland Court Residential Home is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to join the Kitchen Team. You will work under the kitchen manager and cook to deliver meals and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene for residents.

The role requires good English, teamwork, and a willing attitude to learn. Experience in hospitality/catering is beneficial, with a preference for 1 year in a similar role. This is a supportive, resident-focused environment.

Job description

Woodland Court Residential Home is looking for a Kitchen Assistant to join their Kitchen Team.

The role of the kitchen assistant is to be a part of the kitchen team under the instruction of the kitchen manager and the cook.

You will work to create inspiring mealtimes for Residents at the home catering to all preferences and dietary requirements. You will need to enjoy interacting and communicating with the elderly.

You will assist with meeting and maintaining high standards of cleanliness of the Kitchen/ storage areas and all kitchen equipment.

All regulations for food health and hygiene must be adhered to at all times.
