We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed team member to join our kitchen team. We are a family run group of Residential and Nursing homes in Shropshire, Cheshire and The Wirral and we want you to join our Springcare family. About you

You will be positive, enthusiastic, and professional and be willing to go above and beyond to ensure our residents receive high quality service. We need someone who is self-motivated and has excellent communication skills.

Desirable qualifications
  • Food and hygiene certificate
  • Previous experience in a similar role however training will be provided
Responsibilities
  • Assisting with the preparation and serving of hot and cold meals.
  • Assisting the head cook to ensure that food is prepared in accordance with food hygiene regulations.
  • Helping to keep the kitchen area and equipment clean and to the standard for food hygiene.
  • Under guidance of head cook, maintaining accurate records of food supplies and freezer/fridge temperatures
  • Being aware of varied preferences and dietary requirements of individual residents
