Job summary

Orchard Care Homes Ltd. is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to join our team at our Great Sankey, Warrington home. The role is 33 hours per week, based on site, providing home-cooked meals and supporting residents with dignity and choice in their dining experience.

You will help with meal preparation, adapt menus to individual preferences, and contribute to a caring, supportive kitchen environment. Prior kitchen experience in care settings is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience as Cook/Kitchen Assistant in a care home setting is beneficial.
• Strong commitment to resident wellbeing and safety.
• Excellent communication and caring nature.

You will assist in the preparation of a range of meals to suit individual tastes and requirements, you will demonstrate a caring nature towards others.

You will have Cook/Kitchen Assistant experience preferably gained in a care home setting.

Engaging with residents in a friendly and kind manner, ensuring their dietary preferences and needs are met, and creating a positive dining experience for everyone.
