Avisford Park Hotel is seeking a Kitchen Porter to support the kitchen team in a busy hotel setting. You will help keep the kitchen clean, assist with basic food preparation, and ensure stock is rotated and deliveries are put away.

Avisford Park Hotel is located within 60 acres of grounds with 140 bedrooms, 15 meeting rooms and a fully equipped gym and leisure club and golf course for guests to enjoy, something for everyone.
The Kitchen Porter will be responsible for supporting the kitchen team to ensure a clean and hygienic environment.
The Kitchen Porter will be responsible for ensuring a clean kitchen that is well organised to enable the team to work efficiently. The Kitchen Porter will ensure that all standards are maintained and that they work collaboratively and safely at all times. The Kitchen Porter will support the chef brigade and have the opportunity to develop some basic kitchen skills. The role also supports with putting deliveries away and stock rotation so fantastic organisation and being adaptable are attributes required in the role.
The role is a hands-on role for someone who is flexible and would enjoy supporting the delivery of a great food experience and being part of a strong team.
The Kitchen Porter will ideally be experienced in a kitchen environment however if you have the drive and want to learn the role, we will help you develop and grow skills.
As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the kitchen team, ensuring smooth operations and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food preparation. You will assist chefs with basic food prep, maintain hygiene and safety standards, and help keep the kitchen organized.
