Job summary

Dobbies Garden Centres is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support our restaurant teams across our venue. You will prepare and present meals in line with menu specifications and help with general kitchen duties, ensuring a welcoming, fast-moving service.

You'll work closely with the kitchen team to deliver meals on time, develop knowledge of dietary requirements, allergies and health & safety, and participate in maintaining high hygiene and operational standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service and customer interaction.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Understanding of basic food safety and hygiene practices.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to menu specifications.

Our Kitchen Assistants play an essential role in delivering exceptional customer experience across our Restaurants - delivering tasty food, ensuring food hygiene and maintaining high operational standards.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and presenting food in line with menu specification
• Working proactively and supporting general kitchen duties
• Working alongside the kitchen team to ensure your customers are presented with their meal to a high standard and on time
• Developing your knowledge of dietary requirements, allergies and health & safety
