Job summary

At Dobbies Garden Centres, we are looking for Kitchen Assistants to help deliver an exceptional customer experience in our restaurants. You will prepare and present meals according to the menu, support general kitchen tasks, and work with the team to ensure orders are served on time.

We value passion for food, teamwork and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment, along with familiarity with food safety practices. Food safety qualifications are welcome but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service.
• Knowledge of kitchen health and safety processes.
• Relevant food safety qualifications would be ideal.

Our Kitchen Assistants play an essential role in delivering exceptional customer experience across our Restaurants - delivering tasty food, ensuring food hygiene and maintaining high operational standards.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and presenting food in line with menu specification
• Working proactively and supporting general kitchen duties
• Working alongside the kitchen team to ensure your customers are presented with their meal to a high standard and on time
• Developing your knowledge of dietary requirements, allergies and health & safety
