About The Role

Kitchen Assistant

Location: Beauchamp House, Hatch Beauchamp - TA3 6SG

Pay rate: £12.30 per hour

Hours: Full Time

We have an exciting opportunity for a Kitchen Assistant to join the team at Beauchamp House, a residential and nursing country house care home. Beauchamp House is a Grade 2 listed Georgian manor house nestled in the Somerset village of Hatch Beauchamp, Taunton.

Join Our Team:

Previous experience in a kitchen environment is not essential, but be prepared to work in a fast-paced role. We are looking for a caring individual who can support our residents during mealtimes. Flexibility in working hours and a willingness to be part of our larger kitchen team are important.

What you will be doing:

• Support the Chef team with the basic preparation of fresh and nutritious meals, snacks, and drinks for our residents.
• Assist in providing an enjoyable dining experience for residents every day.
• Ensure the kitchen and dining areas are kept hygienic and clean.
• Wash all cooking appliances and crockery and sanitize all food preparation areas.

You need to be 18 years or over to join the Care South team.

You will need your own transport as we have no public transport links to the village.
