Job summary

TLC Care is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to join our care home team. You will help prepare, cook and serve meals, assist with food preparation for residents, and support the Chef Manager with daily kitchen tasks.

We value compassionate, team-oriented individuals who can maintain cleanliness and high hygiene standards while delivering quality service to our elderly residents.

Qualifications

• Good communication and teamwork are essential.
• Experience in a kitchen is desirable.
• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation, cooking and serving of meals and drinks.
• Prepare vegetables and beverages as required by the Chef Manager
• Prepare food trolleys for meals and assist with plating when needed
• Assist with preparation of puree foods and maintain high cleanliness standards

We are looking for a Kitchen Assistant to join our team at our care home. The role of the Kitchen Assistant is to:

• Assist in the preparation, cooking and serving of meals and drinks.
• To prepare vegetables and beverages for residents as required by the Chef Manager
• To prepare food trolleys for the meals
• To provide assistance with plating meals when required.
• To assist with the preparation of puree food.
• Ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
