Job summary

Bupa Ashley House in Cirencester is seeking a part-time Kitchen Assistant to support our on-site dining service for residents. You will help the chefs with food preparation, plating meals, and maintaining clean, hygienic prep areas in line with COSHH and HACCP guidelines.

Working 21 hours per week, you will join a caring team dedicated to delivering high-quality meals and a warm, welcoming atmosphere for residents. Experience in kitchen work and a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchen or food service is preferred.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to high cleanliness and food handling standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist chefs with plating meals and preparing food trolleys.
• Keep preparation and serving areas clean and well organized.
• Monitor stock rotation and report needs to the team.
• Help with catering for events and special occasions.
