Wadworth, a respected hospitality brand, invites enthusiastic Kitchen Assistants to join the Spread Eagle Inn, near the Stourhead Estate. You’ll work alongside our kitchen team to keep prep moving, maintain high cleanliness, and support a great dining experience for guests.

No previous kitchen experience is required—positive attitude and willingness to learn are welcomed. We offer training, flexible hours, staff discounts, and opportunities to develop in a friendly, supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Support kitchen team with food preparation and basic cooking tasks.
• Help maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness.
• Wash up and keep kitchen equipment, utensils and work areas clean and organised.
• Assist with deliveries and stock rotation to store ingredients correctly.
• Support busy service periods with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Work closely with chefs and colleagues to deliver great food and guest experiences.
• Take pride in your work and contribute to smooth kitchen operations.

Combining traditional hospitality, quality food and drink, and comfortable accommodation, it offers a unique experience for guests exploring the beautiful surrounding countryside.

We're looking for enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking Kitchen Assistants to join our team. Working alongside our chefs, you'll play an important role in ensuring our kitchens run smoothly, our food is prepared to a high standard and our guests enjoy a great dining experience every time they visit.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Supporting the kitchen team with food preparation and basic cooking tasks.
• Helping to maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness.
• Washing up and ensuring kitchen equipment, utensils and work areas are clean and organised.
• Assisting with deliveries and stock rotation to ensure ingredients are stored correctly.
• Supporting busy service periods with a positive, can‑do attitude.
• Working closely with chefs and colleagues to help deliver great food and excellent customer experiences.
• Taking pride in your work and contributing to the smooth operation of the kitchen.
