The National Trust is seeking a Food & Beverage Team Member at Longshaw Estate, Sheffield. This zero-hour role offers flexibility, with 2–4 shifts per week between 8:30am and 5pm, including weekends and bank holidays. You’ll support the kitchen team and help deliver great service to visitors.
No prior experience is required; we’re looking for a people person who is enthusiastic and eager to learn. The position ends 30 June 2027 and is paid at £12.75 per hour.

We’re looking for a Food and Beverage Team Member. In this role, you’d be making a real difference to the work of the National Trust, as well as helping to give people a memorable day out.

Contract type: This is a zero-hour contract, meaning we can’t guarantee a set number of hours each week. While we aim to provide a consistent work pattern, flexibility is needed as schedules may change based on business needs. We’ll try to give as much notice as possible. The role includes weekends and Bank Holidays but does not require evening or split shifts.
Contract duration:Fixed term ending 30th June 2027. There are two contracts available.
Hours/Working pattern:You'll typically work 2 - 4 shifts per week, between 8:30am and 5pm, including weekends and bank holidays. As this is a zero-hour contract, hours are not guaranteed and may vary from week to week.
Salary: £12.75 per hour

The cafe at Longshaw welcomes hundreds of thousands of visitors each year, serving home-made bakes, hearty pies and local scoop ice cream to ramblers, cyclists, dog walkers, families and everyone in between. We invested in the building 5 years ago, hit our first £1m sales last year and continue to grow. We're now looking for a Kitchen Assistant to support the lead chef in our friendly kitchen team. From helping run service, prepping salad or making scones by hand. It's fast paced and hard work.
