Job summary

Chartwells is recruiting a dedicated Kitchen Assistant (Zero Hours) to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in Chartwells on a permanent casual basis, contracted to 0 hours per week.

This role features a fixed Afternoons shift pattern (Mon–Fri) and a 43.6 week per year commitment, with opportunities to progress within the company that invests in its people and rewards dedicated staff.

  • Preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights our clients and customers

  • Assisting with the loading or unloading of deliveries and supply vehicles
  • Representing Chartwells and maintaining a positive brand image
  • Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
  • Complying with Health & Safety regulations

Job description

We're currently recruiting a dedicated Kitchen Assistant (Zero Hours) to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in Chartwells on a permanent casual basis, contracted to 0 hours per week.

Here’s an idea of what your shift pattern will be:

  • Mon: Afternoons
  • Tues: Afternoons
  • Weds: Afternoons
  • Thurs: Afternoons
  • Fri: Afternoons

Please note: This role is contracted to 43.6 weeks per year

Your key responsibilities will include:
