Job summary

Compass Group UK is seeking a motivated Kitchen Assistant to join Chartwells on a full-time basis, contracted to 40 hours per week. The role is part of a broader network serving around 6,000 venues, with opportunities for progression, competitive pay, and strong development support.

This position is contracted to 38 weeks per year, with responsibilities in food preparation, cleanliness, and safe operation of kitchen equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare delicious, high-quality food for clients and customers.
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in the kitchen and surrounding areas.
• Ensure correct use of all machinery and equipment.
• Assist with loading or unloading deliveries and supply vehicles.
• Represent Chartwells and maintain a positive brand image.
• Comply with Food Handling & Hygiene standards and Health & Safety regulations.

We're looking for a motivated and passionate Kitchen Assistant who will be the heart of our operation for Chartwells on a full time basis, contracted to 40 hours per week. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights our clients and customers
• Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness of the kitchen and surrounding areas
