1x Full Time (40hrs), 1x Part Time (32hrs) (to be discussed).

Weekend and weekday availability essential.

About the role

We're on the hunt for a passionate foodie with extensive kitchen experience to help out in our busy coffee shop. You will be working alongside other kitchen assistants, so excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential. A strong knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards, including allergens, is crucial. You will assist the head of kitchen and other assistants with setting up the kitchen for service, preparing food items to order, and closing down the kitchen at the end of the shift.

Responsibilities

• Preparing sandwiches, hot dogs, and other savoury items to order.
• Following prep recipes and setting up the kitchen for service, as well as closing it down at the end of the day.
• Adhering to food hygiene and safety standards at all times and maintaining cleanliness.
• Occasionally assisting in preparing donuts in the mornings.

Candidate requirements

• Minimum 1 year of commercial kitchen experience.
• Food Hygiene Level 2 certification.
• Food Safety Level 2 certification.
